Kolej Komuniti Seberang Jaya had acquired 12 units 3 stories of shop lots to be converted into one of their community colleges to serve the Permatang Pauh community. During the renovations, the Main Contractor found a lot of serious defects. They informed the Client who then engaged an Engineering Consultant to conduct an investigation. Several serious defects were found but the root cause was the concrete strength was only between 6MPa to 15MPa way below the design criteria.

Install shear connectors 
Shear connectors bonded with typical starter bars adhesive.

Grout used speocified for 60 MPa. 
Scaffolding to all beams & columns enlargement 
Scaffolding had to be water tight to prevent grout loss.
