This bridge was built back in November 2008. The total length of the bridge is 24 km (15 mi) with a length over water at 16.9 km (10.5 mi), making it the longest bridge in Malaysia and the second-longest in Southeast Asia.

  1. A solvent base methacrylate anti-carbonation coating.

2. All buried, underground and immersed structures were coated with Tar Epoxy Paint.

3. Underwater Epoxy coatings were applied to selected areas.
